I served as a Military Police Officer in the US Army Reserves and NJ National Guard for 10 years. For 7 years I held the rank of Sergeant. My duties included supervising a squad of MP’s, implementing and overseeing training in the Military Police Essential Tasks of Combat Operations and Garrison Duties: (Forward Troop Deployment, Battlefield Traffic Control & Convoy Escort, P.O.W. Operations, Rear-Area Security & Personal Protection, Soldier Common Tasks, and Garrison Police Operations)
I led the NJ Domestic Disturbance Training Team consisting of 6 MP’s. I developed a curriculum, instructed, and delegated classes to be taught to Army units to enable them to respond to domestic disturbances. The two day course consisted of Command & Control, Use of Force, Search & Apprehension, and Riot Control Formations. |
